AWEG is a newly established women’s group with an ultimate objective of empowering women through the production of shea butter to improve the economic status or the livelihood of women.The Awonpok Women’s Empowerment Group has a vision of establishing as an organization (NGO) and expanding in the near future to reach out to all women in the northern part of Ghana, empowering them through the production of shea butter.
